Carer Gateway is an Australian Government program providing free services and support for carers.

If you care for a family member or friend with disability, a medical condition, mental illness, or who is frail due to age, then Carer Gateway can help you.

The Companion Group can provide respite via the Carer Gateway.

Once a successful referral has been completed, The Companion Group are able to support the carer via respite services. This can include:

• Before/after school care

• School holiday care

• Cooking and light domestic duties

• Transport into the community

• Social support

• A helping hand when you need it the most

All completely funded out of the Carer Gateway, so at no cost to you.
